Our Nanny Network gives Child Care Professionals a monthly opportunity to meet together in a relaxed setting over a light supper to chat, share ideas and learn from our guest speakers. The Nanny Network is about having fun, sharing experiences and continuous learning.
We cover a variety of topics. A representative from the Police Service talked to our Nanny Network about safety on our roads when transporting children. He also spoke about what you need to do if involved in an attempted hi-jacking. At another of our Nanny Network meetings an Occupational Therapist talked about working with children with ADD and ADHD. We have also covered the topic of why you need an employment contract and what it is for. We also make time for fun with a “make-over” evening which was sponsored by Jean Guthrie’s products.
Nanny Network is open to anyone working in childcare - the private home, teaching in pre-schools or primary schools, after-care services, residential child care, babysitters. For details on when and where we meet go to Nanny Network Details. You can also have a look at our Nanny Network forthcoming events.
